Dziekonski Übersetzungen – we have been providing our customers with competent and highly-qualified court interpreters – conference interpreters – specialist translators – certified translations in all languages for 25 years.
In 1992, Mieczyslaw Dziekonski established the translators’ office “Dziekonski Übersetzungen” in Erfurt.
His motto: Quality, fairness, junior staff development.
To ensure the best possible quality of our services, the office of Dziekonski Übersetzungen cooperates with a team of qualified and experienced colleagues, which are members of the German Association for Translators (BDÜ) mainly in Thuringia and Saxony. Besides fulltime interpreters and translators, lecturers and graduates of Universities and Colleges in Erfurt, Jena and Weimar belong to our team.
Mieczyslaw Dziekonski relies on fair prices and fair remuneration for his employees. He has set himself the objective to train, form and support young junior talents. Dziekonski Übersetzungen relies on a wide network of native speakers which is diligently and intensively maintained, expanded and connected to serve our clients to the best of our abilities. Hence, we guarantee excellent quality on native speaker level in translations, proofreading of documents or interpretations. Translations are proofread by several persons and interpretations are prepared intensely.
Mieczyslaw Dziekonski is a sworn interpreter and certified translator accredited for the Courts and Notaries in the Free State of Thuringia by the president of the Regional Court Erfurt for Polish, Russian, Croatian, Macedonian, Bosnian, Serbian, Montenegrin and Slovene language. He constantly continues his education, attends various domestic and international scientific conferences, workshops, courses and language trainings. In 2016, he wrote his PhD thesis at the Silesian University of Katowice on the topic: “The Croatian Diaspora in Trieste”. Currently, he is intensely working on the issue of national minorities and rare languages in Eastern Europe, focusing on former Yugoslavia.
Hence, he has not only mastered the required language qualifications in his fields of expertise, but has also obtained extensive knowledge about legal systems and political circumstances in the countries and regions whose languages he translates and interprets. He considers this knowledge a precondition for competent translations and interpretation services and expects his team to show the same precision, willingness to learn and flexibility.
Mieczyslaw Dziekonski participated in EU-projects establishing labor administrations in the Republic of Poland, the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia-Montenegro. Moreover, he supported the development of the Polish Authority for the Approval of Foreign Refugees and worked for the development and restructuration of the Polish Agriculture on behalf of the EU.
Besides his work as an interpreter and translator, Mieczyslaw Dziekonski is involved in cultural and political actions. He was the co-founder of the German-Polish Society in Thuringia and has actively been organizing German-Polish events for many years. He has a deep cultural commitment and uses his various as well as numerable contacts to integrate foreign citizens from different countries of origin into German society.
